The Brush Toles for Thee ReviewI am the daughter of Robert Berger and am very interested in the people who followed his work. He passed away 8 years ago but I know he had collectors of his work all over the country and I would love to hear from them. I have often tried to duplicate his work but come nowhere near as professional as he was. His work was unique in that MOST of his items were 1 of a kind. He usually painted on antiques if it would not hinder the value of the piece. My mom was an antique dealer and saw to that! I think this book put together with Priscilla Hauser, showed a good example of what his work was like and I really haven't seen anything like it since. He admired Priscilla very much and it was because of that admiration that he agreed to do the book. He was not one for interviews at all. Again I am looking to hear from anyone who had been a Robert Berger collector and I may also be interested in buying back some of his pieces although my home is decorated almost completely in what he called his "rejects". I don't believe they were rejects at all but for some reason he did. I also have my own pesonalized peices that hold a very special place in my heart.The Brush Toles for Thee Overview
