Jesse Steele and the Secret of Otherworld ReviewAs a middle school teacher I am constantly reading books of all genres and levels to discuss with my students. Reading the first installment of the Otherworld Series was an absolute joy! I had no idea of the ride I was in for. Without disclosing too many details, Jesse and his friends are in the Otherworld having one adventure after another trying to complete their quest. Completing their quest though, quite often becomes secondary to simple survival. This is a land of magic and wonder, but not the magic of Harry Potter which we have become used to.
The further I delved into this story the more engaged I became. I never "knew what would happen next." I cared about the characters and had to see them through their next conflict.. I am very excited by what this author, R.L. Brush has accomplished. This is the series to look forward to.Jesse Steele and the Secret of Otherworld Overview
