Broom, Zoom ReviewCaron Lee Cohen doesn't use much text in this book, but through Sergio Ruzzlier's artwork, much is shared between two friends- Little Witch and Little Monster and one broom. Both friends decide they need the broom at the same exact moment, but they learn what happens when they share and help each other... they can both get the broom, taking care of more important tasks first.
I think this is a great book for early readers. Parents, teachers and caregivers can point out each word on each page, helping early readers learn and discover early print. It is also a non-scary alternative for a Halloween book. There is no talk of ghosts, ghouls or goblins- nor of trick-or-treating, the witch and monster are the only Halloween related things- oh and flying broomsticks!Broom, Zoom Overview
