I originally found this book in the Library here in NZ. My first reaction was that I simply had to have a copy of this book and immediately ordered one from Amazon. The techniques in this book are very well explained and set out and the illustrations are professional,very crisp and very lively in colour. Anyone painting in watercolours should have one of these in his/her library for reference purposes. This book contains more than just being able to paint in rustic colours. It is a good all round reference for general painting techniques as well. I particularly like the demonstrations and the many close-ups of details that will certainly be of great help to beginners. Terry is a highly accomplished artist.
