Painter 12 for Photographers: Creating painterly images step by step ReviewI have struggled with versions 10 and 11 of Painter and as a result have stuck to Photoshop for most of my creative efforts. Painter 12 has made some significant improvements and Martin's book is just what you need to turn your photographs into works of art. I bought the Kindle version and downloaded it to my iPad. I was surprised to learn that it has a link to his website that has all the exercise files for download. The web site also has 31 step by step tutorials in PDF format and 10 video tutorials that demonstrate Martin's approach. He demonstrates exactly how to clone the photograph and set the brushes. At this point in time (November 7, 2011) this book and accompaning videos and files is clearly the best training available for Painter 12.
