I've taken a couple beginner workshops with Cindy and find that reading through the instructions for each piece in the book are just like being in class with Cindy. One of my favorite things about this book, which makes it unique, are the "tips" throughout each project. They are the little reminders and things Cindy tells you in class, as you're working and Cindy is looking over your shoulder. The other great thing about this book is that for each project, there are bonuses noted as "Another Idea" where you're given information to make a few small additions or changes to create a whole new piece. It basically doubles what you get from this book! This book is one I know I'll constantly refer back to.
