Watercolours (How to Paint) ReviewAs a long-time amateur artist it is not always practical to get out and obtain material subject matter. Art classes are fine but they do not cater for all students. Personally I prefer to study in depth what I wish to create. This wonderful book allows me to study and work at the pace I find beneficial to my interests. It allows me to have one-on-one tuition from a truly inspired artist. The text, instructions, reasons why and why not, colour coordination and teaching methods cannot be obtained in the normal class. At least not by me! I am deliberate and precise in my approach to art and with this instructional book I can converse and learn from Jeremy Ford slowly and surely. I can take time to fully comprehend his methodology and at this pace I retain the message forever. I own many such books and each one is a mine of information that inspires you not only to paint but to understand the ways to portray a scene in its correct setting. Jeremy presents the 'Tricks of Art' which are to be found in any specialised trade. The book itself is beautifully presented with true colour and well illustrated. I recommend both the book and Amazon to Australians as quite often the book is unobtainable in Australia and generally twice the cost that Amazon obtains for me.Watercolours (How to Paint) Overview
