Lauren Luke Looks: 25 Celebrity and Everyday Makeup Tutorials ReviewI love Lauren Luke's Youtube channel and she is great when she appears on This Morning (UK daytime TV show)to present the week's hottest celebrity make-up looks, so I was really excited to learn she has published a make-up guide.Having now read it, I can recommend it to people who are new to or are starting to experiment with new looks. LOOKS is written in a cozy style - it's like you're having a cup of coffee with Ms. Luke. The looks are broke down into easy to follow steps; each step also has a clear photograph to help readers follow the steps.
That said I didn't actually learn anything new, and other readers who are comfortable using make-up won't either. Lauren does provide advice and tips; but I already knew it.
And the celebrity inspired looks? They're pretty, but if I looked at a photo in a magazine I'd be able to recreate the looks without needing to flick through a book. Also, the keyword is 'inspired'; It's not a step by step for the exact same look.
