Photoshop Elements 9 in Easy Steps: For Mac and PC ReviewI bought this after getting Easy Steps Digital Photography from my local library. I thought this would have to be just as good...and I was right. I was intimidated by Photoshop (yes, even Elements) but his is a very simple breakdown to get you started. Even if you tried your hand at some things this will help explain concisely what you need to do for each desired effect. It is loaded with tips and tricks on every page and is in full color. Author has included warnings on what not to do, as well. Then there is a section Beyond the Basics that explains hue and saturation, histograms, unsharp mask, levels and filter adjustments. I loved the section on combining group shots and screen clean up . Each was successfully explained step by step in 2 pages and with color photographs.
