Painting Master Landscapes in Oil (Odd Nerdrum Style) ReviewI found this short book to be pretty straightforward in its steps. The most interesting part was that the author/painter uses fine sandpaper to "blur" the background painted strokes to make it more atmospheric. He uses a fan brush almost completely for both paintings. He also uses a trick of blocking in thickly the rocks, then glazing black over that, and wiping the glaze out to create a realistic texture in the foreground.
