Next Steps in Altered Photo Artistry: New Ways to Transform Images for Fabric & Quilt Art ReviewBeth's follow on book is in the same style as her Altered Photo Artistry, and thankfully does not duplicate the instructions in the first book. It has the same very clear layout and instructions.The book shows you how to apply all the various filters and effects in Photoshop Elements to your photos, with clear illustrations of each effect, so you know just how to produce them yourself. Beth also gives approximate ranges for all the adjustables on the filters. You can spend weeks playing with all the variables, and it is good to have a starting point. This section including colour adjustments, is the meat of the book, but it also covers a few options for collage or repeating images which you could then print onto fabric.
